If Carapaz had co-operated yesterday he could have taken a few more seconds out of Uran

Weather reminiscent of when I went up.
Tourmalet, 8C and drizzle; Luz Ardiden 25C and sunny. Massive difference in feeling.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Podium is looking settled now barring a major blow up by one of them or a mishap.

WVA takes mountain points from Pog, suggests Pog may not be actively chasing that jersey.

I'll assume that was a touch sarcastic. 😉

    Sounds chill. No drama.

( I would be over 45 minutes down, by comparison.)

ITV and Eurosport are 10 minutes apart with their calculations.
Consequently Millar and Boulting are sweating...

Ineos are on the front with the aim of putting Carapaz in the leader's jersey at the end of the day. And you guys complain about Kirby.

Poels can still win the polkadots with a bit of luck.
He's got a 21 point lead on Pog
Pog 1 he needs 4th place
Pog 2 he needs 6th place
Pog 3 he needs 8th place
    Pog 4, he wins it

Ineos seem very keen for Poels not to have the polka dot win.

Playing around with the Velofacts calculator yesterday, I'm fairly sure Dave and Ned must be writing down the smallest possible cut off time and forgetting that it's a minimum. Same happens today - nudge it down to the lowest band and you get roughly ten minutes less than the 37 or so that it looks like being.

Pog reminds me of Ullrich a bit. He seems to be able to sit a slog rather than dance around the bike.
