Managed to watch the game during mother’s 70th and actually it will be memorable for the shared moments with the kids as we scored 😎

Slow start as start at the MIL with the kids in the camper despite there being enough spare rooms 🙄

Hounds walked, chilled morning then over to church Stretton for a run. Later is obviously the pub

    Ciao

Well........ have an Aygo at the mo' - test drove the Yaris hybrid for an hour and it was a total snoozefest - did a gazillion mpg but the most boring thing ever. Nearly smashed it up after 6 miles because TDV and I nearly fell asleep.

Jumped in an Aygo and cacked ourselves laughing after 300 yards so kept it overnight.

Like driving an original Mini but with full leather, key less this, bluetooth that, 5 doors, A/C, etc etc for sub £15k brand new OTR.

Waiting for garage to check out Forces discount and will take from there.

As for now, shower, boy to tennis, Aygo back to garage, Tour.

We rented an Aygo for a weekend trip into North Yorkshire (don’t own a car, live in London Zone 2, spend that cash on fine dining and Dura Ace) and it was such a fun little car.

If I were buying a car, and didn’t often need to transport bikes, it’s what I’d buy. Without a doubt.

    Morning folks,
Slowish start was enjoyed, lad has now left for his new life on the south coast. We won't see him until Tuesday when we carry the rest of his stuff down, good job it's not far. Might go to an open day at the London Music Museum, a neighbour volunteers there and said it's something to do on a wet weekend. Coffee first, no point rushing into anything.

Mrs H³ crook with a headache. Weather grim.

Boy at work, I've heard so much more positivity and can-do attitude from him after a week of work than after 12 years of schooling. Some kids just don't get on with school...

Unless the novelty wears off soon, which it will. Still, if he can impress someone, maybe he can re-think doing some a-levels badly, and do some work-based training with the restaurant group.

Doge will need a stroll shortly, but clouds look ominous just now.

Hope you pocket a fair sized lump of his pay check to prepare him for the real world.

His paycheck is going into our joint account. 😀

For reasons too long and involved to go into (unless I already did, then forgot), Lloyds froze and then cancelled his current account irrevocably.

Timed that ride/cafe stop impressively well. Under a picnic table umbrella with a coffee when that heavy shower came in.

Hoping Regents Park Benugo keeps the app/table service setup - quickest service I’ve ever had there!

Ride rided. Would it rain? 50:50 forecast. Went for the no rain jacket, shorts and short sleeves option for was it the 3rd time this year so far? And it worked. Sunshine and no rain. Back to watch stage 9: pretty much the exact opposite of my flat and sunny ride.

Thought those Aygos were aimed at the pensioner market? No?

It's surprisingly good fun though. Certainly more like driving a car than piloting our tank.
