Wheel stiff when QR tightened

New (to me anyway) wheels and when I put the back wheel in and tighten (not hard) the QR the wheel binds up so it’s hard to pedal and certainly won’t pedal backwards. Could it be the QR adapters binding the bearing when tightened or something else. It’s an RSP Chosen 150t freehub.

It shouldn't happen on those hubs, because they don't have a preload mechanism for the bearings. You might want to check the rubber seal on the freehub, that is sitting correctly and not causing friction when the hub caps are pressed by the dropouts

The seal needs to be there when the weather is less than perfect, but maybe fitted better/the other way round or something

Removed the seal and it worked, turned it round the other way and still didn’t work, so will leave it out. Sunday best wheels so won’t see a lot of rain ha ha. Thanks for the advice though.
