    Tomorrow's rain arrives today.
May is a washout across much of Europe.

Quick one - whats the logic behind splayed out gravel-esque 'bars but inward pointing set up shifters?

    aero?

Yeah keeps you narrow and aero on the tops, but still gives you the stability benefits in the drops for descending. So the theory goes.

I hope Campanaerts gets a win here. Him and Riesebeek for Alpecin up the road.

Come on Italy you’re supposed to be distracting me from the endless bleak weather over here on this island.

Rain really coming down. I suspect the peloton will neutralise themselves.

The DSM guy is not really getting a fair draft here. He’s about a foot higher on the drops than Campenaerts

Or yesterday in my case. My last 10km were 'fun'.

Campanaerts has to go long I guess. Can't shake him

Good racing with the front two battering each other and not worrying about the chasers. Mollema overcooked it trying to chase. Must be horrible actually trying to race in these conditions.

I thought Riesebeek would take the sprint there.

    Campanaerts wins!

Alpecin rider left his lead out too early and Campenaerts comes around him again to take the win. Came really close to picking Campenaerts for PTP but thought it was a bit too hilly.
