Thanks for tip. I recorded it and started watching this morning. I've already seen loads I didn't know or had forgotten. I'd forgotten he rode for Carerra initially and couldn't recall ever seeing him with any hair (he had a bit during that first Giro but he looked so much older than 24!). I'm not sure I ever realised he was such a fearless descender either but can definitely recall doing some of those bum over the back wheel descents back then that I may have got from watching him.

The crazy attacks and massive time gaps are always fun to watch with hindsight. The stage where he started 4 minutes behind Ulrich but took 6 minutes out of him was crazy as was the one where he broke his chain and had to chase back then straight through to beat Jalabert for the stage. I've just got to the point where he had been instructed to let someone else win a stage but couldn't bring himself to do it. All the bad stuff to come now though.

Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist.
Not available for streaming on Netflix or Amazon.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
