    If the Ineos rider hadn't come over the top the end result would have been the same, net 1s gain for Evenepoel. So that seemed a bit pointless

    When you look at how close some GTs have been recently it makes sense got the GC riders to do that on those stages where it is possible.

    Felt a bit strange, that sprint - Sagan had to take that a long way and you'd normally expect someone to come round. Think the corner maybe made it harder to judge the distance remaining, and caused a bit of hesitation behind.

    It felt like a few had left it until getting around the last corner before fully opening up but then there just wasn't enough distance left for them. I was surprised how big the bunch still was at the end.

    And until they sort out the times for the 3km rule, Vlasov up to 2nd in the GC, one second behind Bernal - so that sprint was key :)
