Brit Awards

Just seen Rag n Bone man. Who'd have thought that Michael Bolton re-hashed would be latest trend?
The youth of today should be ashamed.

As there have been no responses, am I to take it that everyone one else on here shares my disinterest for these self indulgent mutual masturbation award shows?

I’m sure that’s my parents old 70’s carpet and my mum’s handbag 🤔

Dua Lipa’s bottom was the highlight for me.

I'm 50, I don't think the Brits are really for me.

The fact I quite like Harry Styles is definitely not in his favour.

I watched it - it was ok. I've started listening to modern chart music in the car so was familiar with a few of the acts despite being far too old - ironic as I didn't really listen to chart music when I was in my youth.

Watermelon Sugar is a very fine pop song indeed. And that suit is spectacular.

    O ye of little faith

The dress is a nod to Ginger spice’s famous Union Jack dress in the 90’s. Not sure what the thong is a nod to.

Not sure about a nod but it's definitely winking at me.

It's a good job she doesn't have to rely solely on the music.

Would it be a defence if I claimed to be gay and only looked from an artistic viewpoint?

Reminds me of the comment that Girls Aloud videos were best watched with the sound turned off.

    (Most) modern music is s.h.i.t.e.
Auto tuning BS, and if you don't look like a model you've not much chance of making it.
If you do look like a model, you get a team of writers to write your songs.
Yes, there are exceptions. Which someone will probably name below.

I watched a but as the wife wanted to watch.

What was strange is that this was a test event live music in front of a live audience and they chose to open the show, with this life crowd having waited months to see a live performance, with a pre-recorded video of Coldplay.

Liked the reference to KLF. My spaniels are partial to a bit of Chill Out, especially the bit with the sheep.
