I have an immaculate condition Scott Sub 20. I don’t ride it as the riding position is too much on my hands as I have Dupuytrens in both hands. I already ride a mountain bike that’s quite a heavy bike and the appeal of the Scott is it’s weight. I’m considering the option of somehow altering the handlebar height and handlebars but concerned whether this would be too much and alter the dynamics of the bike. To match the MTB as a riding position would mean about 1” but I have no ability to heighten the handlebars. Somehow I need to move away from such a low riding position. The bike will only be a road bike. Any suggestions or warnings.
