They are labelled as R8050 so looks like they are rim brakes which is what I wanted. They only thing you don't get is a box, they've come wrapped in bubble wrap but with instructions.

Unfortunately LIGHT10 expired on 23rd Nov. Still a good deal at £19.99 though - just not sure I can justify a second one...

Got it - code GSG10 for 10% off the light. Also took 10% off the drivetrain cleaner I bought at the same time. Wouldnt take 10% off some tyres I wanted though.

25mm or 28mm tyre versions available to sell to someone who thinks these things are worth riding, further reducing your overall price.

35mm deep rims, I suspect not much benefit over the likes of my 28mm deep Hunt wheels, but still. Also comes with bolt thru and q/r adapters.

Unfortunately there is no more stock of that bike until mid Jan, so you can't buy it (was considering getting it even before the discount). But for anyone wanting the aluminium version of the bike (ADV 8.9), there are stores around London that seem to have them in stock.

Poor enough sales at the minute. Was hoping for a deal on endura pro sl bib tights.

Don't get your hopes up... ...is it just me, or are there hardly any decent bargains around this year? I've got a new bike coming April-ish and I thought January would be the time to look for all the bits and pieces I'd like to treat it to... and there's a whole lot of not a lot

I guess it's a combination of retailers selling lots of stuff through last year, and expecting people will still buy most stuff at full price for the next while, at least?
