Yes, as long as it's the same ratio cassette. A larger or smaller ratio cassette may need a different chain length.

The only caveat being if it's an 11-34 you need spacers right?

I think i had a 11-34 on a 6700 ultegra medium cage back in 2014 when i was in the Pyrenees. Think it was ok.

    Don't you mean 11sp 6800 ultegra medium cage? There wasn't a 10sp 6700 medium cage RD, only RD-6700 SS 28T and the revised model RD-6700-A-SS 30T.

  • Anyone know of any OEM parts for the 11sp sprocket spacers for Shimano? I think they're 2.8mm. Misplaced x2 somehow, and only ones I see online are "official", Shimano ones at £5 each ffs....

£5 each?!? It's a little bit of plastic!

Yup. SJS actually have some for £2.99 plus postage. Still painful....

    that's ridiculous. utter rip off.

go to your local lbs with a few tinnies in your hand and ask them if they have any in the bucket of old bits they have replaced on bikes - when MF was in the trade he would sling old cassettes, cables etc in a box and take them to the recycling once a month - if anyone popped in and wanted to mooch through it then for the price of a donation to charity take it all.
