Seatpost problem - can't tilt the saddle

I've got an issue with my seatpost it seems. During a ride the nose of the saddle dropped abruptly, the little groove where you place the rails of the saddle is straight on one side but tilted down on the other like in the picture. Anyone else has similar issues? does that mean new seatpost or is it fixable?

    Fixable, the outer discs with the rail grooves pop out, they are tight since they are a taper fit. One has simply rotated.

    This ^^^. Pop it all out and clean everything up. Grease the through bolt and maybe a touch of fibre grip on the part that clamps the saddle rails.

    if that happened whilst riding, what do the saddle rails look like? They should be parallel.

    I have a similar issue with a friend's bike and can't seem to work out how to pop out the discs without a concerning amount of force. How do you go about it?

    Same as above, how do you pop them discs out? hammer?
    Saddle rails are fine, parallel, undamaged.

    OK so the answer, it turns out, is a hammer to a blunt chisel (in my case a large allen key) through one side and out the other. Just popped out easily enough.

    Apologies, not been here for a couple of days, Yep lots of force. I learnt the hard way, like Poptart above, that the cups get proper stuck and it is alarming how much force they need to pop out.
