Just how he spends more time in a break trying to avoid doing a turn and that it doesn't help him in the long run.

Two dangling off the front, riders trying to get across including Rowe but nothing serious. Pollit on his 4th bike change.

I thought it was Pelle Bilbao in the Giro for a moment. This race switching on Eurosport is hard work.

About the only thing I miss having switched from Holland to the Alps is this weekend...

The beer, the sportive, the beer, the race...the beer

It's a bit fast . Less than 2 hours racing left

Hoffstetter looking like a rider who has had enough for the day after a fall. Dillier also not looking good. NTT pursuing their solo suicide attack tactic, maybe there's another level crossing coming up. Peloton knocking it off (as Kirby returns to tell us to look at the pace being set).

    Carlton is back. Fab.

    Christ he’s fucking awful.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

Who was the Ineos rider putting the pressure on there? Pulled a group including Kwia clear but dropped them all except Stybar.

I'm please that no one has criticised my inclusion of Vanmarcke as five stars. I realise this is probaly due to it not being read or no one bothering to post about it, but I'm taking it as acceptance.

I automatically interpreted it as "stars if they don't get a mechanical". Without that adjustment he's one star at most. So basically, he's one star.
And thus it came to pass.
