Tubeless

My tyre "punctured" again tonight. It resealed, I'm pretty sure this is twice in the same spot although there is no obvious hole. Should I take the tyre off, clean the sealant off, put a patch over the "hole" and add new sealant?

I found ( by trial and error ) that this
    https://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-tubeless-repair-kit

Is actually completely superb if you run tubeless tyres. It’s got a couple of reaming tools, different sized worms, a razor blade, and some Vulcanising rubber stuff. I was not having much fun with road tubeless tyres, but this little 5 quid kit makes them almost worth having. I still only use tubeless on my MX now, but I might consider going back to tubeless on one of my road bikes, because of this. Use the sealant leak as a marker of where the issue is, and Bob’s your uncle.
  • I used to have mysterious flats... but mostly on hot days in summer. Is the tyre old and worn out?
