Yates needs to push hard here, he can descend well so hopefully OK

Yeah, he doesn't look uncomfortable, really. Possibly just a smart ride.

Quintana and Roglic pull clear. Not sure why. Pogacar 43 seconds.

Quintana deciding that no one is riding away from him over the top of the peyresourde this year (I know it's the other side)

Not sure Jumbo got any return for all that effort.

Powless having an excellent race, very unlucky today losing it on that descent as he'd have had a shout at 2nd on the stage.
  • Pogacar making a heck of an attempt to take yellow here...

Bardet having a late dig, hadn't realised he was in the race. Yates also opens a gap.
  • Yates did very well to hold onto the jersey today.

Yeah. He could have done better on Stage 6 too, saw an interesting thing on cycling tips about his ride there, inexperience on his part. Hopefully he will learn from it.

Buchman didn't lose too much considering how early he got dropped.

Jumbo may have to rethink their tactics here. The race is wide open now and no dominant teams. France currently with two contenders.

    Missed emotions for the French
  • I bet Jumbo wish they could turn the clock back to the Dauphine.
That was a bit of a disaster by their new standards.

Looked like Roglic threw away at least a couple good opportunities to take some time.

They relied heavily on WvA but can he put in another performance like that tomorrow?

Dumoulin was fairly useful I thought.

Well that was quite fun in the end...
