Today is my super Friday as I'm off all next week :)

Headed into the office on the train to do some stuff and drop off plenty of work stuff to wear in the office when I ride in. Plans to drive in the next few weeks have been scuppered by bridge closures that would mean paying Uncle Sadiq £15 a pop and/or having a stupidly long journey stuck in bloody traffic jams trying to get over the river.

May try to grab a beer after work if there are a few takers.

Morning from deepest dampest Heckville, light rain on an off while escorting the hound to sniff an poo.
Work day today, forgot Monday is a bank holiday which makes a total of zero difference to me. Screwfix later to pick up some batten lighting an slap that up for Tuesday when sparky appears.
Now off to hunt out some coffee.

    Morning

WFH half day, although not much work to do anyway. Looks like I'll finish just as the rain starts, and need to go for a quick spin on my nice clean bike to check it's OK

Anyone know what a Currys "small lorry" is? The sort that would deliver a new freezer and might get stuck on a small lane?
    I'm thinking a Luton van?

My local Tandoori delivers in a small Berlingo van.

    Gopping again.

That bike will not stay clean Thistle.

I might cling film it before going out.

Wind down day, excuse me if I don't appear for two weeks as Italian internetz is sketchy at the best of times.

Scorchio for a change. Morning on a nice little beach a short drive away. Pita gyros for lunch. Balcony lurking at the moment (view below). I'll be glad of the weekend and bank Holiday. It might stop some of the work-related idiocy going on in my absence, which I'm having to deal with.

    Afternoon folks,
Have a great time HD. Going to be a wet one here.
Slowish start as we both have the day off. Just got back from the fracture clinic, scaphoid was indeed broken. Also ligament across back of wrist damaged so bones are splayed out and twisted. Borderline if I should have surgery so physio for 3 months before another review. Hopefully that will work as the surgery will result in restricted movement and almost certainly arthritis. This is all very frustrating. At least I know what's going on and I can start doing a bit more.
