Lets start with the UK and go worldwide when we hit about 67 million posts.

Pimlico Plumbers boss Charlie Mullins. Just had his Gerald Ratner moment.

There is something very satisfying about my Park tools.

A good wire cutter as well is nice.

@briantrumpet and @surrey_commuter probably have some saws to recommend.

    Excellent thread idea.

My plug in drill. Sure, the cable is slightly inconvenient, but being able to use the drill when I want to and not an hour or two later wins.

I am more of a quantity over quality man when it comes to saws. Having the right saw for the job makes your life much easier.

    Is this statement an oxomanmoron?

I.e. using a derogatory nickname in the same sentence praising the offering.

I may be useless at DIY and bike fixing, but one of my big breakthroughs was ditching the adjustable one and getting a set. So much easier.

Their socket set is very good to.

The occasional user does not necessarily need to pay pro prices as they do not need to pay for durability

yeh, i got one of those 'multitool ' thingies from there. the one that's a sander and can be changed to a cutting blade. Absolute godsend for cutting into floorboards when you want to take just one section out for wire or plumbing. Takes the standard Ebauer blades too.

A year or so after, they were selling the model with the quick change blades. Bought one each for my lads for Christmas.
