New Pedals Use old Cleats or New

Hi all just a question I could not answer collecting bike with new pedals tomorrow XTR Trail, now would you use my current shimano cleats or install new cleats with pedals. The cleats are both the same, if to change with new can you also advise reason why. Thanks All

    Personally I just replace my cleats when worn out, certainly wouldn't replace just because I'm fitting new pedals. Don't forget to adj spring tension to what you normally use.

    Thanks I agree with you both I thought I would just ask the question 1st new pedals in 2 years and change was forced upon me or would still have old trails.

    I think you maybe right mate there was this little steep curly section which kept on going, now I managed to my surprise but had no choice or would of dropped as was clipped in I really have had enough of that feeling.
