27.5 Non Boost Fork Upgrade

Can anyone recommend a 27.5, non boost, air form upgrade, for a 2019 Specialized Pitch Expert? Currently running the stock Suntour XCR coil.

    These air forks will fit onto your bike as it is now without any modifications needed to front wheel/hub as it has the same non boost quick release standard to match.

    The steerer tube will also fit straight on to your bikes frame.

    Lots of options
    As standard the bike has a 44mm headtube so you can fit a 1 1/8 using the current headset or a tapered fork using a new lower.

    Your current fork is a QR wheel fitment.

    As a new fork is going to cost you more than half the price of the bike I'd look at either
    1/ getting a good used fork for a lot less money or
    2/ Get a transferable fork, tapered steerer and boost (yes new wheel needed) so that when you want a better bike later you can transfer these onto it and fit the original parts to the Pitch before selling it
    You could get these AND a wheel for cheaper than the fork linked above.

    Is there an option to simply convert the existing front wheel to boost? Therefore enabling me to buy a boost fork, and use the existing front wheel?

    Rubbish if you don't quote the first half of my suggestion which was the straight forward no modification option, Rookie.

    You must know or read something I didn't that makes you so sure OP wants to p#ss about changing everything.

    Where's the link for these good second hand forks, new wheel and not forgetting a new bottom headset assembly cheaper than my fork suggestion?

    All that so OP has a lot of parts left over in a box that he could refit to the current bike to hypothetically sell in the future and a set of forks for a hypothetical future bike?

    Unfortunately your front hub is Shimano with cup and cone type bearings and aren't convertible to Boost or non Boost thru axles so you will need a new wheel or hub which, if you purchase will give you more fork models to choose from.

    If you also replace your bottom headset assembly with a semi integrated, external cup version you could fit forks with a tapered steerer of which there are many forks to choose from as tapered steerers and thru axles in Boost or non Boost is the most common configuration for forks.
