Over winter I'm thinking about striping one of my bikes down and getting the frame powder coated. I've read about plugging holes etc but one thing I haven't seen mentioned and it keeps crossing my mind is...
... Powder coating I'm guessing, is a bit thicker than most other finishes so is there an issue with refitting the headset and seatpost clamp?
Can anyone recommended a powder coater in the Bolton/Salford/Manchester sort of area?

We use Crossfield Excalibur in Bury for staircases and handrails etc. Never had a problem and they're pretty reasonable and have a lot of stock colours.
