Chain purchase

in MTB buying advice
Currently I have a 20 speed 2 x10 chain set so I guess I buy a 10 speed chain?

Question is would you recomend spending more money on a chain or are the 20 pound ones quite sufficient?

    If you pay a bit more you get them with more rust resistance. Yes, I lube mine as well, but after a rainy ride the lube is often gone from the side plates and the rust has started.

    Use the higher end EL kmc chains much better I've found over them .93 chains about 25 quid if you look around.

    I use standard KMC chains but I wash my bike or my drivetrain almost after every ride or at least every weekend.

    Once washed a quick spray of WD40, stops any rust forming (as it contains a small amount of oil) until I get round to lube again.
