Got to go to the office this week, so decided upon today as I could cycle and that way any possible contamination won’t be transferred into the car the kids go in. Don’t think the wife bought it for a second, but it is happening 😎

Morning, a little cloud but plenty of blue skies again , think I could be riding my bike today, followed by catching a few rays
    Have a good day

Supposed to be WFH but it's not happening at the moment. Feel like going back to bed.
Clouded over here a bit now, not sure if that's going to make it feel cooler or warmer today.

Local Mac place prepping for reopening

On my way home from yesterday's ride, I was held up by a big queue of traffic being directed by security guards. All for a McDonald's drive through.

The state of people that they will sit and queue for at least 30 to 40 minutes in a hot car for that garbage.

Last day of summer today. Apparently spring was sunnier than every summer except 1976, 1989 and 1995.

WFH which will include a meeting using Microsoft Teams for the first time, for me... dunno what's wrong with a good, old-fashioned conference call.

    Morning folks,
Good day at the office yesterday, back to wfh for the rest of the week. Not much going on and a little lacking in motivation. Trying to get through the day without painkillers, I'm still going through all the colours of the rainbow and a few more. I don't bounce as well as I used to that's for sure.

It'll be chaos when they reopen the one near my work, traffic could back up from the drive through and block the Apex corner roundabout there anyway, I can't imagine what it will be like when the natives of Hanworth are allowed back there. Thankfully I should be wfh when that happens so not an issue.

Slightly cloudy here but breathless and still. Must make bread and do more schooling with Shorty.

I think I feel sorry for Oxo living next to a Maccy D's. Unless he likes Maccy D's, obviously.

Busy morning on calls talking about transfer pricing strategy mainly. My head now hurts a bit so am having coffee to cure it.

Zoom, with YouTube over a shared screen. Me and few mates, over a few beers, talking through great one day races or Grand Tour stages.

If anyone hasn't seen 2009 LBL, it's worth a watch.

Most of this lot on here won't have seen a bike race. let alone a single event.

There are better: Phil Gil's Paris Roubaix and his Flanders win has got to be amongst the 2 best classics ever.

Phil Gil actually features heavily in the 2009 LBL, but Andy Schleck makes him look like your fat mate on Côte de la Roche aux Faucons.

Stevo, cant stand the place. I moved in 10yrs b4 they did. It was funny watching them do some training in their carpark earlier though. Currently sat mid queue at local tip, only another 49 cars in front to go.

The product dispensed by the former belongs in the latter.

Are they important meetings today? If not why not shut up shop/book half a day and enjoy the sunshine.

My local tip has got an online booking system and as of today there's a 5 week wait - for the tip ffs :/ At least it's quick when you get there, but in the meantime the binmen will be taking away lots of trash.

One meeting left and it should be breezy. Then I'll log off and turbo.

Filling out the claim form from British Cycling last night I realised the driver had given mt the name and address of his insurers but not the policy number. The form also asked for his full address. I sent him a message asking for the missing information and he replied with the policy number and said he'd asked his insurers and that was the minimum information he was required to give me.
So knocking me off didn't make him enough of a dick he has to act like one when dealing with me after the event as well.
