Stunning colour! I’ve just splashed out on an sl5 frame set but with the direct mount brakes rather than discs. Still, 28mm tyres are now a possibility so all good. I’m quite excited!
  • I'll finish applauding that in a bit

    Chapeau

I'm running 32c at the moment, it can take more, but they seem happy enough. I've ummed and ahhed about this colour for ages. I am very very glad I did.

56 at 5ft 10. It felt unusual to be getting a 56 but it does feel right.

That’s a relief! Same size that I’ve bought. I knew you’re a similar height to me from previously so if you’d said 54 is perfect I’d have had serious second thoughts!!

This bike is ridiculously good. It’s not the best climbing bike, obviously. But it destroys bad surfaces. It seems to simultaneously float over and smash through them. If that makes any sense. It makes me giggle just how isolating it is. And that’s on the stock wheels. Carbon wheels later in the summer.

They’re lovely aren’t they? Although mine isn’t quite the same as yours (rim brakes vs disks and Di2 on an SL5 frame), I get the same feeling of plushness when I’m riding it. Hard to tell about how good it is on hills because it’s better than me!

I can’t begin to describe what it does. Even a low psi massive tyre carbon Cx can’t touch it. It’s supernatural

Supernatural is a great way to describe it! Anyway, here’s mine. Nowhere near as flash a finish as yours but I’m very happy!

My wife has the same bike. If you think it looks good in the pictures I think it's even nicer in the flesh
