Which road tyres will fit my Arkose D2 (CX bike)

Hi guys,
New to riding and for the last month have really been enjoying going out in my Arkose D2 Cyclo-Cross bike.
I cycle mostly on the road and only average 14mph over 60mins, riding mountain bike tyres (700 x 45c) on WTB ST i21 TCS tubeless wheels.
I would like to get some road tyres that are thinner/reduced rolling resistance, so that I can keep up with some of my friends when we ride -
Any suggestion on how thin I can go (I’m thinking maybe 32 or eve 28mm)?

According to WTB website, i21 rim width has a minimum of 28mm tyre, but they recommended 30mm +

If you want a fast, tubeless tyre, I can recommend the Schwalbe G-One Speed. I run 30mms on my CX commuter bike, and they are fast on road, and comfy off road (canal tow path for me). They don't have a huge amount of off road grip, but in the dry they are great.0

You can get fairly slick commutting tyres like Schwalbe Marathon (heavy) in 28mm+ or GP 4 seasons in 28mm or 32mm (a bit lighter). 28 or 30 will at least be comfortable over the potholes and rough surfaces on UK roads.
Then you can save your pennies for set of decent narrow road wheels. The Arkose uses the same frame for dirt and road models, so switching between gravel and road wheels should be a doddle.0 -
32mm Conti GP5000s or 4 Seasons would feel a lot quicker than what you have at the moment.0
