Got £1000 to spend on my first MTB

I’m looking by my first MtB, Hardtail, going to be on the road, a bit of rough terrain, as there’s some country tracks and a big part nearby. Any recommendation?

Have a look on line for reviews/articles on "best MTB for £1,000". You'll find plenty of reviews but your problem will be availability of the bikes at the moment.

Try a Ragley Marley 2.0 for just under a grand, add a Brand-X Ascend II dropper for £100 and away you go!

I'm in a similar position. I think the three best options are a Vitus Sentier vr, Nukeproof Scout race, or the Marley.

Another thumbs up from me on the Sentier, Scout. Marley didn't spring to mind at first but oh yes a another great bike. All three at top of my wish list.
