Loose Canyon H36 cockpit + fork

I figured out that the fork is a little loose, when I brake and squeeze the bike back and forward I can feel the cockpit and the fork are not so tight.

I tried to loosen the bolts, and tight it again, but the problem persists. The spacers are ok, I can see that what is really loose is the stem+fork.

What I did:
1. Loosed all the cockpit bolts
2. Tight this bolt ->
3. Then tightened this one in the bottom
4. Then tightened this on both sides
5. Then I tightened the cover

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    The cover (generally called the top cap) you tightened in step 5 also provides the preload for the headset bearings, so needs to be done before steps 3 and 4. You don't need to do step 2 unless you loosened it first - Avoid doing that in future as it's unnecessary.

    When you're tightening the top cap, you want to tighten it just enough that you don't have any of the movement you mention at the start of the post, but still have free rotation of the fork.

    I just got my new Ultimate, and the loose steerer got me mad!
    Went online and eventually understood.
    Step 1 / 5 / 3 / 4. No need to touch 2, unless you wanna cut the steerer tube.
