11 speed rear cassette sram or shimano

I have a 2017 orange clockwork that comes with a slx derailleur and shifter and is fitted with a sram pg 1130 11-42 rear cassette this is standard fit from orange.. I have been wondering if I could convert to the shimano slx or xt rear cassette if its possible as the sram cassette is nearly worn out are there any difference with the shimano cassette over the sram and are the fitting tools the same?

cheers

They are the same fitting so no problem swapping to a Shimano cassette.

yep, just buy the cassette for whatever speed of gears you are running.

Its only the new shimano microspline freehubs that use a different lock ring so your current tools will be compatible.

Have a look at sunrace wide range cassettes, I've used these before and worked well with kmc chains.

I used to have a very similar set-up and changed to an XT cassette without any problems.

I have this setup - the Sunrace cassette had good reviews and was cheaper.
In the limited amount of use it's had, it's been great.
