On the back I would put a Maxxis Aggressor 2.3, for the front a Maxxis DHF 2.3. They will cover anything you come up against short of real slippy mud.

  • @robertpb Thanks for your reply. Have you rode the trails in Spain? I should have said in my post, its not like England!!! Not much rain and no mud. Rocks, slate, stones. Also could be 3 hours cycling up hill before an hour of down hill.

The conditions you will find there are what the tyres were designed for. The Aggressor was made for loose rock, solid rock and dry dusty Enduros and it rolls really well, so it will get you up and down those trails. The DHF is the most used tyre for the front in Enduro racing, closely followed by the DHR 2 and the Schwalbe Magic Mary.
I could have also said put a Hans Dampf on the back with a Magic Mary front, but they come in 2.35 and are big for that size, bigger than a DHR 2 2.4 by about 4mm, your frame may be a bit tight for that.
