Rear shock help

Hi all, I have a older bike I’d like to swop the rear shock on. It’s 150mm centre to centre of fixing bolt. I can’t seem to find a shock that fits other than the rockshock monarch RL but finding the size I want is impossible. Can I go up in size without massively changing the bike geometry? Thanks in advance

    Hi there
You've posted in the road bike "Workshop". Think your problem would be better answered in the MTB workshop & help

    What stroke is the shock?

If you go up in length you will raise the rear axle and bottom bracket and steepen the headangle, yes you will change the geometry (for the worse)....
