36t ring for Shimano GRX 1x

Hi. Does anyone know whether it is possible to use a 36t ring with the Shimano GRX 1x chainset? And if so which brand would fit and be compatible for 1x?
From what I can see the only options to buy are 40 or 42.

If you check out the italicised text above the pic of the rear wheel, it states that only 40 and 42 tooth chainrings are available. The suggestion is that they are thinking of possible 34 and/or 36t rings but none are available.
If you know the BCD of your current set up you may find some after market options with the 4 arm design that might fit0 -
Thanks for the reply. I don't think I phrased the question very well as what I meant was which non-Shimano rings could I use instead to give me options beyond 40 & 42. That said I've decided to go with 40 anyway, so all good0

no, the grx crankset will not take less than 40 by design. look for a mtb crankset, they work the same...0
