Never bought of there before.

Inspect the item before paying. Walk away if anything seems dodgy.

Bit of a sweeping statement there. Evidence?
  • Not sure so have bought one of e bay .lesser of two evils .
    Lets see !!
  • I've bought and sold on Gumtree with no issues.

Just ensure that the seller seems genuine, check the products and don't let them come to your house.

If you get any incling it's not right - just walk away.

My Cannondale came from Gumtree - easy purchase, nothing dodgy. As always though, caveat emptor.
Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads
Trek 830 Mountain Track frame turned into a gravel bike - for anywhere & everywhere
