    can't understand Trump speaking now, we will never again fight in wars that have nothing to do with us, next sentence We are investing massively in our military making them bigger and stronger than ever, can only think it's to stop a democratic rebellion?

    My own theory is he is going to box in New Mexico, because its actually Mexico in his eyes. Also he did terribly there in the last election so if he can effectively annex the population and declare them as non American it boosts his figures.

    He seems to be doing anything he can to appeal to his demographic, pulling out the the Paris Climate Accord (or least saying he will as nothing can be done till next month) Rolling back restrictions on the use of fossil fuels.
    Hes sueing California for a climate agreement with Quebec. Because its not constitutional for make agreements with foreign powers. Kind of a pot kettle black situation.

    He's clearly a very stable genius.

    There are a few theories out there on the internet that he's suffering from some sort of dementia. They quote videos from a few years ago where he is far more coherent than now and he has now deteriorated by quite a degree.

    He obviously has some business accumen with his hotels/golf courses etc but I suspect that he regards the law as an inconvenience and somehow believes he has some amazing genes that he has passed on to his children who have similar gifts for business. Wiki has more on him but he seems to have huge losses as well and the trick is prob to sell/get out when you can. His casinos in Atlantic City stand idle I think. It's more about the brand. i would imagine it's 'interesting' being around him. In a few yrs I'm sure there will be a wealth of stories from people who sat in hi-level meetings with him. His move to Florida is poss a tax 'dodge'. I suspect his daughter is of a similar nature to him. They would sell us all out if they were enriched even more.

    IQ is not necessarily the best indicator. I grew up with a genius level boy my age in the street. He sailed through school, exams and uni. Struggled with simple day to day activities.

    Thick but possibly cunning although even that's debatable.

    He's got where he is through inherited wealth and having people around him to keep him out of trouble. Now he's in the hot seat he's finding his enemies are at a different level and taking the job will eventually lead to his downfall in business I suspect. Everything will catch up with him once he leaves office.

    There are strong arguments out there that Trump Org is a massive money laundering operation. That requires a different sort of acumen... not least, 'keep it in the family'.

    I think he was reasonably sharp, in the 'can cut a deal' sense, but I do think he's got some sort of progressive dementia, evidenced by his vocabulary and frequent incoherence. He's being used by some clever people who know how to play him.
