New carbon endurance bike

Hi,
Need some help as I can't test ride some bikes due to no suppliers locally.
I'm wanting a carbon endurance bike as I need comfort (getting old) budget is around £2500.
Looking at Cannondale synapse, giant defy etc
Would like something with disk brakes and a larger tyre clearance so can take out all weathers and canal paths.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Just would like some advice please.

I have a Trek Domane which seems like it fits the bill and I can't fault it at all!Advocate of disc brakes.0
