    Well on cars it's 2 years. Because the DOT fluid is hygroscopic. Suppose it depends on your brakes and what they use for fluid. If it's mineral oil I'm guessing you can leave it for years?

    That depends on your driving usage. If it's your regular vehicle, it's safe to add brake oil every other year.

    If it’s a cycle then it can last a good few years with no problems. It’s only when air or water get into the system you would see problems normally.
