I have been looking for a bike for a while and CRC have a sale on so nows the time to buy I think.

    I'm looking to going off road gentle at first and hopefully more extreme later if able.
    I'm a 52 year old male who initially wanted to get fit and has got the MTB bug and has recently joined a cycle club locally.
    Im looking for a bike hat will be able to cope with most things really...apologies for not being too specific as not sure what path the MTB bug will take me, all I know now is I love going off road and need a better bike that will cope with most things.

    Out of the bikes you have listed I would go for the Bird Zero.
    They are cracking bikes and the guys at Bird are really helpful.
    If you give them a call and tell them the type of riding you envisage doing they will give you some good advice.

    I have a Mk1 Zero which I love. It has been good for all sorts of riding - XC, trail centres, touring. Currently trying to save for a Zero29.
