Suggestion would be much appreciated here...the WTB Trail Boss and Vigilante in 2.6 and 2.8 at front are great for trail individually, but man, they’re draggy. It’s like pushing through mud on tarmac.
I also find 2.8 at front overkill.
Thank you...

I have the 2.5 vig at the front and 2.4 trail boss at the rear on my Evol. Maybe try dropping to the 2.6 vig at the front ?

Also have a friend with a cujo and he has wtb rangers on and believe they are faster than the vig... Can't say on grip though

According to the Sonder website your wheels are 45mm so 2.6 is as about as narrow you can put on them, otherwise the profile will be awefull with anything below this.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
  • Yes, I know. Wouldn’t go below 2.6.

  • I have specialized butcher grid 2.6 front and 2.6 slaughter rear both tubeless on my self build transmitter, been great so far.

Specialized have some tyres on offer at the moment:

Not sure if any are relevant to you.
    "Ride, crash, replace"
  • Curious, what tyres and size did you swap to in the end? Thanks

The OP hasn't been active on the forum since that last post, so don't hold your breath.
