Bike: Focus Cayo Ultegra Road - Frame hole dia 46mm - Spindle 24mm - Width 68mm
I have on the bike at the moment a PF30 Sram / Truvativ PressFit BB30 (PF30) to BSA Bottom Bracket Adapter and RS500 cups (https://ibb.co/album/jRFSyv)

I want to do an upgrade, (but not go nuts). What would you guys recommend? I like the idea of the screw in cups.

  • As a long term user of Press Fit BB bikes I would go for this one:

  • Thanks Sandyballs, I've had a look at the Praxis BB and it looks good. As you have used these can you answer one question. I have Di2 cables running through the BB hole and up the various tubes. Is there enough room for these cables and the Praxis? (the cables are 2.5mm dia).
  • Praxis themselves say yes:

However I’ve only used mechanical and so cannot confirm, additionally I suspect different manufacturer give differing amounts of room.
  • I've brought a Praxis BB, very impressed with the quality, if I had mechanical gear it would be great, however with the Di2 wires I don't think it will fit, not without mods (cutting holes) to the outer sleeve. I'm told its not structural so it won't be a problem, I was also told by Praxis to cut it in half, mmm. Has anyone else used a Praxis BF30 to BB30 adapter with Di2?
