New front light....

I'm looking for something small, lightweight, powerful enough be seen, have a good battery life and be well made.
Am I asking too much ?

Anyone have any recommendations ?

Moon xpower range well made and good battery life. Various lumen levels to suit. Have got a couple of older 300 lumen ones and they have been in use for at least 4 winters for daily commute with no problems.

    + 1 on this...

Just trying a Brooks/Lezyne front and rear on my Brompton and will see what that's like...

You have not mentioned budget, but the Ravemen brand make some really high quality, practical units.
    Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
    Scott CR1 SL 12
    Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2
    Scott Foil 18

I have the 1200 model, powerful, yes, enough to be seen, most definitely, well built, yes. Lightweight though it is not its quite a weighty unit but it is packing a 5000Mah battery.

Has a few light modes and a "Full beam" button on a remote which is great when it gets very dark.

Yep same one I have, awesome light, and like the powerpack option too.

I googled yesterday and noticed they do lesser powered models, and also smaller (presumably) lighter options as well.

If you don't want to see with it (be seen only) The Exposure Trace would be my choice.
