Hi, was just wondering how I can tell if my SRAM red 22 derailleur is a short, or medium, cage version? Doesn't seem to be anything written on the derailleur itself to indicate this. Cheers

measurements on the 10 speed one i have in front of me but i can't see why they would have changed the measurements considering they are all interchangeable:

distance centre of j wheel bolt to centre of j wheel bolt: 80mm

edge of j wheel to edge of j wheel: 120mm

can post a piccie next couple of days if you want

you may also be able to check by googling the serial number on the rear of the mech
