Help finding big hit rear end

Hi all

Can anyone help he source a big hit rear end?

Brother ripped the hanger off his at les gets this season

    Presumably need either the hanger on the seatstay/dropout assembly?
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    All he’s told me is he’s ripped the hanger off and he needs a new rear end/rear triangle

    I have asked can he weld it and he said there is nothing to weld

    So is it the seat stay, mech holder that's damaged for that you'd have to go through a spesh dealer.

    So a rear end refers to a rear triangle. OK then, "big hit" refers to what?

    I find the whole reference to a "big hit rear end" as totally useless. How are we supposed to be able to work out what it is? Why not just say "I need a new rear triangle for my bike, details below". But to not even say what bike it was for is sure to get an absence of help.

    How did Rookie know that Fil_b's brother had a Speccy?

    Hmmm, OK I have just followed the link and now I see that "big hit" is actually meant to be "Big Hit", ie the name of a bike!
    If Fil_b had used capital letters in the correct place some of this confusion would have been avoided. (Certainly for me it would have!) :lol:

    Tbf. Spoke to a specalized dealer and they spoke to specalized and they have no parts. Too old they said

    One frame on eBay. Just seeing what other options he has

    Its an old clunker, I'd look at reframing it with a more modern frame and updating a few bits as he went.

    Could probably be used with 26" wheels initially as it only lowers the BB by 1/2"
