ride the volcanoes again, wonder if it's going to get even hotter

while sipping a cold beer last night, i asked the tabby how tabbies on earth are related, they're not, but evolution strives for perfection and so tabbies evolve wherever life takes hold and eventually gain dominion, apes on the other hand are just a dead end, they die out, explains a lot really

Tipping it down with rain in these southern climbs so sacked off the ride. Not sure what I'll do now, lazy day!

Sunny with occasional howling wind. Spent the windy bits feeding the mulcher all the bits of protea we cut down the other day, and the non-windy bits lazing in a deck chair in the sun.

Spewing that I missed out on a couple of bike parts on local FB pages...

    Afternoon folks,
Was up moderately early, by my standards at any rate. Dropped the lad off at Wimbledon station along with the old dear and my nephew, was diverted due to the giant sink hole of Wombledon. Didn’t notice any big gaps in Hoppy’s road so I guess his house is still standing. Sorting more stuff in the old man’s garage today, you wouldn’t believe how much stuff will fit into a single garage. Nothing of note found today. Beer later.

That diversion is a pain in the arris, as that's the direct route between my house and my rented flat, I either have to go up onto the ridgeway and down again, or all the way through wombledon town centre.

Massive holes in my house, and no floor, also piles of rubble and decking and a portaloo in my front garden.

At least you’re used to dealing with cretins Stevo.
Found some old school reports from primary school, my sister described mine as being brutal, she was clearly a crawler.

just got out of the pool in Ostia - first beer quaffed, have been eyed up by lady at the poolside but as she doesn't look like Lucy Worsley I'm not interested.

Time for shower, pizza, vino rosso.

Not for the next week :) . Landed at rhe place after a longish trip - very nice and its suitably free from the tracksuited underclass. Now supping a large G&T on the terrace of the place where were staying. Not too hot either.
