Lovely looking bike build, Etap makes things a lot neater and works well IME.

Thanks. I'd probably still be struggling with the internal wiring if it wasn't for eTap and wires entering the top tube behind the stem would not look great.

I haven't really done this bike justice on the photography front, but here's a couple: one with better colours (but an uncut steerer) and the other with obligatory garage door background that looks a bit washed out.

Looks stunning, the Etap really takes away any clutter.

Thought the first pic was fine, I changed to Etap on the Canyon to avoid having to re cable through the frame although I still run mechanical SRAM on the other bike with external cabling.

Thanks for the kind words, Matthew! I would agree with you if I was only going to stare at photographs all day long (I am almost past that phase), but the spacer and the 50s are staying because I want to enjoy riding it :) Actually, I my original plan was to keep just the top cone, but I bottled it at the last minute and left room for the spacer. #toooldtoslamandonlygettingolder

Thanks. The Bora's are great: everything about them oozes quality, they look and sound amazing and braking power is awesome. However, the Chinese 50s I had on originally are probably just as fast, a fair bit lighter and 1/3 the price!

    New chainset?

That's the Red AXS chainset. I changed the group from 11 speed eTap to 12 speed AXS.
