    Morning,

Ah yes I remember the days of standing on a hard shoulder full hi viz trying to fix what ever vehicle decided to break down, nearly being wiped out or sucked under a lorry was an every day occurrence as a recovery driver.

Anywho its sunny and cool which is nice, office is still stupidly stuffy so I'm going to sit on the balcony shortly with a coffee and a beanbag.

Later more garage related shenanigans. No VW things tonight lost out to some oik in a brand new Golf R on finance. Still least the cars very clean and got to do sound audio demos for a change.
  • Morning. And a good one it is to, as my monthly 10 days off starts today. And it's sunny so a ride this afternoon. And there's surf forecast for end of week.

    But with rain...

I bought a Boardman CX that had been crushed by a lorry on a site. It was brand new, the guy had ridden it 7 miles to work that morning and left it against a container, lorry driver backed into it bending the frame and one crank so I got it really cheap and nicked the parts off it. Good job he wasn't on it.
Busy day here but computers are working and assistant is back in so all is well. Out to the pub for a comedy night tonight. Onwards and upwards...

This. Plus trying to wrap up stuff before I go on holiday myself.

Escaped from the office on time but need to do a bit more work this evening. And the boiler is in the middle of being replaced so we have no hot water. Wonderful.

Yeah, trouble is the kids don't really have a grip on economics. They just say "Oh Dad, you earn lots, you can buy me a car, house etc".

Then again, maybe they've got it right. :?

Try a fake tan, Grecian 2 million* and some bleaching of the teef.

    *Alternatively; a wig.
