Crack lines on tire

Hi,

I bought a two years old endurance bike (2016 Giant Defy Advanced 2) from craigs list last weekend and discovered there's a series of crack lines around the rear tire (stock). Some crack lines' Inner lining is visible if I squeeze the sidewalls. Image below is just a portion of it, there are bunch crack lines around the entire tire. Does it need to be replaced? Thanks.

    im having difficulty working out is this the inside of the tyre? Is it a tubeless or standard tyre?
    If the cracks arent all the way through and you are using tubes then you could 'reinforce' them with a layer of duct tape if you were concerned

    or buy some new ones for a fiver and not get dead didease.

    I can't see the picture, but personally I never risk anything related to tyres or brakes.
    You can get reasonable tyres cheap.

    technically if the tyre is not bulging its safe but cracked rubber is perishing and its not going to get better with age. also the risk of puncturing is higher.

    Image is exterior of stock tire that came with the bike. I'll replace them. Thanks

    yep definitely replace if its the exterior
