Uni open day today - split site visit and dogs to be dropped off/collected, so will spend a lot of the day just travelling.

Morning folks, traditional slow start has been had. Very pleasant too after a manic few days back in the orifice. Now sorting stuff out after the holiday, much to do and fixing a few bikes as well. Go and see the old dear later.
Lad got back from Cornwall a couple of hours ago looking rather dishevelled. Think he’s had a good time but he wasn’t very communicative.
    Mmmm, gelato...
Phone just suggested gelatos. Yikes! #heathens

Packing. Going to tip. Moving out next weekend, but builders start Tuesday. Not joyful, but my mum has come to help out, and getting rid of a LOT of shyte, which is cathartic. Had my hair cut, and now in the 'spoons next door, which is as traditional as V68's Wednesday beer. £1.99 for a draught IPA at 5%. That's pissed for a tenner that is, but I'd better be going...

Which uni was it? We’ve got to go to Bath in a few weeks, then we’re done. Sussex current favourite.

My mate went to Sussex for a bit. Made a small fortune peddling recreational substances. Dropped out. Went to Manchester. Got a good degree. Now trades physical oil to good effect. Oddly enough, another mate was from Bath, also funded his degree by peddling pot in Southampton. Now he sells derivatives.

Lessons? The country is full of caners who require servicing. Or that salesmen are salesmen, whatever they are selling. Transferable skills.

Either way, just say no kids.

What's mini V wanting to study? Obvs mini being a relative term, having met your daughter!

Royal Veterinary College. Pre-clinical site in Camden, clinical site near Potters Bar. Did both today - knackered.

Next stop Bristol in early September...

Raynes Park, still an SW postcode. It is a wetherspoons. They had a selection of 5 draught ales at that price. I just happened to choose the most alcoholic.

£2.60 would likely get you a coke no lemon round here. Daylight robbery.

V, any top tips for where to park etc? We were thinking of doing the park and ride or something like that.

Apparently we also need to get a shuttle bus to the clinical stage vet site which is a good few miles out of the city.

We did the park and ride when we took the lad for a look. Worked quite well as I recall. Not been this year as not on the girl’s list. Nice enough town and uni, just lots of different sites and hilly.

TDV read psychology at Sussex - loved it to bits. Halls @ Falmer campus then an aviary in town if that makes sense?

Thanks V. Bristol will be the last one as she hasn't got time to go to Liverpool. Apart from the ones the interview you...
