Hi all,

I have completed over 12,000 km on my 5 year old Canyon Ultimate CF SL .
There are no issues at all with the pressfit bottom bracket (Shimano SM-BB72-41).

But someone suggested I replace it as a precautionary measure.

What do you reckon ?

    I wouldn't bother if there's no issues.

With all the tales of squeaking BB from new etc I’d be very happy with a faultless one after 12k km and leave well alone!!!

Thanks for the top tips, will save the joys of replacing a pressfit BB until it's needed :)
  • I've done around 35,0000km on my 2014 Ultimate CF SLX, never made a single noise, still buttery smooth!
