Hi

I'm currently running a SRAM Apex 1x 11 setup with a 42t chainring. I'd like to change to a 34 or 36T chainring and I believe the bolts are 110mm on centre. The chainring is a x-sync type. I can't find a suitable chainring on line, does anybody know if anything suitable exists?

Shaun

There was a thread about this on another forum a while ago. I don't think you can go below 40T. Changing the cassette seems the easiest option unless you change your chain set.

You can go down to a 38T on a 110 BCD
    https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/rac ... prod109723 click 110 and 38t is an option.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Thanks but I don't think this will fit. The bolt pattern on that seems to be at 90 degrees (i/e 12, 3, 6 and 9) on a clockface whereas mine are somewhat asymetrical.

Ah, do you know what chainring you got? My bolt pattern seems asymetrical.

It's SRAM S, Apex 1, Rival 1, Force 1, they are all the same bolt wise.

Unfortunately they aren't, at least on the version that I have. My version has a 4 bolt asymetrical version all of the others seem to have 5 bolt.

This is the chainset I have.
