Apologies I cannot find this online, which bike computers produce FIT files from rides natively (rather than GPX and TCX). I have aftermarket analysis software that only works with FIT. Usually my preferred computers are low cost with GPS, like the Garmin 25, Sigma Pure GPS but am struggling to find this info. I thought about export from strava but its doesnt do FIT. thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure Garmin edge 800 saves rides as .fit files and the 500 I had before did as well.

I've a feeling you can download old fit files from Garmin connect too or convert and download other options.

I think .fit is a garmin standard band unlike ant+ not available to others.

I back up my rides on my 520 (and previously my 500) by logging into the device as a USB drive and downloading the .fit files. I dont think it is possible to convert another type of file into a .fit.

    what software are you using?

you could use golden cheetah instead, it will import a wide range of file types

.fit files are an open standard for fitness devices. Anyone can create them.
