Replacement shock suggestions for an older bike

Afternoon folks, I have a 2003 ( I know, it's old ) Marin Wolf Ridge, which I am very fond of for various reasons but the shock is absolutely knackered. I can't even tell what make the thing is. I would welcome suggestions for a replacement - it's a 165 e to e. The bike is the one with the single pivot TARA suspension. My riding is just gentle cross country stuff with the odd blue run at a bike park - I am old, so no er...radical stuff :-) and I am on a budget.

    You have identified the eye to eye measurement, but you also need to shock travel. Once you have both those, you can buy pretty much any shock. Google "X Fusion", read the reviews and then go shopping!
