The old hayter has finally given up the ghost after may years, tall things taken into account have decided on a cordless either
a STIHL RMA 339 C Rechargeable Lawn Mower
https://russells.stihl-dealer.co.uk/en- ... rma-339-c/
or a Greenworks
https://easylawnmowing.co.uk/greenworks ... awn-mower/

anyone got advice/has one/impressed or otherwise?

Does the job well enough adjustable height etc an not too noisy.

We have neither of those but a 43cm Bosch which we're delighted with*. Can mow front and back lawns a couple of times on a fully charged battery. It replaced a mains powered one, and not having to faff with cables and extension leads is a game changer; it takes about half the time it used to.

All this with the caveat that we keep the grass fairly short. Not sure if it would have the oomph to tackle longer stuff.

*doubly so since the company paid for it as part of a long service award :D

thanks for these, they both look good options depending on the battery power they come with as would need either 2 batteries or a quick charging one plus something that cuts right up to a wall edge, seems to be a lot of options out there!

I used to have one of these (Ex-Mrs SS kept it) but worked a treat.

New back garden size of a postage stamp so I'm using a push along job

It's just a hill. Get over it.
