Day off today, but might ride to work anyway because I need to p p p p pick up a parcel that I forgot yesterday. Still feeling ropey, and need to do some bike cleaning/fettling too.

Thistle - not doing the TT tonight?

WFH as eldest is having a scan on his foot so best leave the youngest at home. Really mucked up my plan for the day but I’m nearly over it

    Alphaville, Forever Young?

Heading off pronto for consultant review on status / progress with my knackered sternoclavicular joint, having been 'roided and followed 3-4 months of specific gym machine physio exercises. Possible outcomes:
    a) good progress well done 'young' man, keep up the good work
    b) some progress, do different and more work
    c) naff all difference, you've wasted your time these past 4 months.
    Please not c, please...

Postscript on NEC Birmingham parking. The option to park free at Berkswell station and take the train, £2.40 return 7 minutes, worked well. Small car park but did have spaces, plus can park on the roads around there anyway. No post concert exit jam aggro.

No, have one early tomorrow morning so taking it easy today but might go and watch.
    Are you doing it?
There's roadworks on the normal course so it will be on the reserve course if they don't fark off by tonight. A sellout 2 up on the short course could be interesting...

Morning, Friday, payday means paying bills. Avoiding work as well as its Friday and requires a pub visit at some point.

A fairly dull day at work today with a mild wine induced fuzz.

Later I shall kill said fuzz with more wine :)

    Post a small add.
Ask the organisers to allow for a unique 1 x 3 up team and join 2.
Get a tandem and strap a life sized dummy to the back. Make sure you fit him/her/it with a helmet.

Anyway, it is bloody pixxing it down here.
    Tomorrow is June.
Sungod is failing at his job.
Leaving for Edinbourg with Madamoiselle Shorty later. That'll be a giggle.

    Laters.

...and don't talk about frikkin bills. June is going to be one helluva hefty outlay month for me.

Busy day for a Friday at work - CFO wants to meet up to talk about our prospective acquisitions, as we always buy messy companies

Signed off by consultant re shoulder. Outcome a), result! Gym exercise regime is developing muscles and tendons so stabilising the xxxxed joint. Keep on doing it. Ok, quite enjoy the regime, and the eye candy can be a nice focal point at times.

    Good news 'Loon.
I'm trying to avoid surgery on my shoulder so I put a bar up in the garage for stretching and chin ups.
    So far... okay.

You said tdv was away. You going to let the mf's loose while she is asleep? Plausible deniability?

I've ordered pizza. I made myself a martini earlier. Unfortunately I have no vermouth. Yes, bb'erz, I partook in a big glass of gin, what I stirred on ice, and popped a couple of nocellara olives in, and a little squeeze of lemon. Nice gin though, local. Silent Pool. Mrs H3 is looking daggers. I'm watching Larva with mini and cackling like a loon.

    Tdv dance or smash dance?

Won't it be like trying to force a marshmallow into a money box after all the wine anyway?
